‘I remember... I belong...’

Samanvay is an approach towards reintroducing our alumni to their good old memories of their alma mater and the splendid time spent here. The alumni meet took place on September 18^th and 19^th, 2010 under the canopy of the affectionate guidance and invincible belief of the authority of College of Technology, Pantnagar. Samanvay reflects the strong bond which exists between our alumni and the alma mater. The Silver Jubilee of 1981 batch of College of Technology witnessed many vibrant alumni functioning in different parts of the country and employing their outstanding skills all over the world.

It commenced with a welcome note followed by the traditional “Deepshikha” by the honourable Vice-Chancellor of the university, Dr. B.S.Bisht which made way for the valuable speeches by the distinguished guests present. The student’s fraternity was enlightened by the presence of the immaculate alumni and their valuable guidance. The interactive session popped up with new innovative exuberant ideas and views giving a new budge to our engineering students. The cultural night which witnessed the starry performances was a heart-throb of Samanvay ’10.

The ambience was filled with a deep sense of nostalgia as we bid farewell to our beloved venerable guests. The meet served as a platform where Pantnagar tradition got recalled, savoured and was endlessly enjoyed by the batches cutting across the young and the old. The two day commemorable celebration came to an end with the collection of feedback form from the alumni regarding the organizational aspects of the meet and their suggestions for the improvement of college.
