Here they were again with their memoirs and reflecting,
I remember, I belong…..”

Alumni of a college are those influential people whose association with the college makes it feel proud and every college wants to strengthen the bonds which at times seem weakened due to lack of communication. Alumni Cell plays a pivotal role in bringing back the alumni to their alma mater.

SAMANVAY signifies the coherence of students and the alumni, which will go a long way in nurturing servitude of professionalism and spirited allegiance. The college has observed a significant rise in the number of alumni attending this magnificent event and recalling the memorable days of their bygone with their friends and families since 2005. It is a two day event comprising of interactive sessions, campus tour and cultural night among other fascinating events.

The students eagerly wait to meet their beloved alumni and share with them their experiences and accomplishments in life. The interface of the students with the alumni help them stride forward towards professionalism. The alumni too relish their experience with the younger generation and remember their own college days. The students are inspired from their seniors who give them career advice and technical help and at times social contacts sometimes.

Samanvay is organised under the aegis of Pantnagar Technology Alumni Association (P.T.A.A.) which is now a registered society. It is a growing fraternity of newly passed out students and veteran industry experts alike.

The college is constantly streaming forward in pursuit of brilliance and becoming a nationally recognized leader in Technical Education, Research and Extension. The assets of professionalism, work culture, strong dedication and will power are instilled in the students during their stay here which nurtures them to face all challenges of life. Our alumni are the archetype of commitment towards education and professional competency.

To commemorate the essence of Pantnagar and its reminiscences in our lives, SAMANVAY is now organized each year. And following the legacy of firm bonding with our prolific seniors, we do anticipate having a laudable account of new memoirs at SAMANVAY 2011.
