The department of Production engineering is the latest addition to the College of Technology. The entire curriculum of B.Tech. Production engineering is divided into three parts.
- Core curriculum in Basic Sciences, Mathematics and Humanities.
- Broad based courses on Engineering Sciences
- Advance level professional courses in areas such as foundry technology, welding science, fixture and tool design, computer application in manufacturing and robotics.
The department is well equipped with facilities in the laboratories like - workshop, production engineering, work study, modern machining lab., meteorology and computer systems. The department has a highly qualified and experienced faculty.
