Memories are the real possession of a man. Words may be forgotten but memories can never be.
Continuing the tradition, this year too, College of Technology organized its Annual Alumni Meet SAMANVAY on September 18th and 19th,celebrating the silver jubilee of 1981 batch.
The spectacular and enthralling event started with the inaugural ceremony. Honorable Vice-Chancellor sir, Dr. B.S. Bisht extended a heartily welcome to the Alumni. On this occasion the third issue of bi-annual newsletter Latitude 29 and Samanvay T-shirt were launched. Dr. Akhilesh Kumar, General Secretary of P.T.A.A. gave a presentation covering the achievements and future plans of the college.
The inaugural ceremony was followed by a sumptuous lunch where the Students informally interacted with the Alumni. In the student alumni interaction session, the Students as well as the Alumni came together on the same platform to discuss upon the queries related to training, jobs and future career plans. It gave the Students an opportunity to foresee their bright future ahead. The Alumni shared their treasured knowledge and invaluable experiences with the Students.
After this, a General Body Meeting of P.T.A.A. was held where various important issues were discussed. The meeting was brought up to its end with the distribution of mementos and T-shirts.
The day concluded with the magnificent and fluorescent cultural night. The electrifying atmosphere at Gandhi Auditorium, Pantnagar and young thumping hearts of the Students took back their super seniors to their days of fun and frolic.
Samanvay gave the Alumni an opportunity to be closer to its Alma mater. We will always cherish it and this rendezvous will last in our memories forever.
