Dear friends,
CCF has been with us for long now, but what purpose is it serving, will it require a revolution by us to start, or what's the best way by which we can force "them" to start it......

Remember, in this college, if you want something, you will have to first fight for it then snatch it!!!

Keep posting...............

Yes it hurts when a facility is delayed for a long time...

Actually I think that the fault is on the part of planning..... infact long term planning.....

But Be positive........... Soon you will be getting a nice enough facility.... Actually after this 8 Mbps there r plans of starting printout & Xerox facility for all people at cheapest rates through smart cards..... Lets hope that the things are implemented soon....

Nowhere days a proxy 10.1.1.25 port 3125 is being used in ccf. The advantage of this proxy is that orkut can be accessed using this proxy but the speed is very slow and irritating.
If you really want to get speed then you will have to change proxy to proxy1.pn.gbpuat.ac.in (you can replace proxy1 with proxy2 also).
One more prob. is that you cant change proxy as it is blocked by admin. Neither you can install opera, firefox etc. Which are far better than ie.
To solve this prob. Download portable firefox from http://portableapps.com
it doesnt require admin account to install it.
You can install it on your pendrive too.
Change the proxy settings to above and speed will be improved.
