Hope this will help you all, Recently college have purchased some video Lectures from NPTEL. We have 3*500GB Hard disks for the same. We are currently in testing phase so first hard disk is implement for the moment and is working you can use them using following procedure.
I would like to suggest you kindly do not try to copy them. You/college are
not allowed to distribute them instead you can use them any no of time
1). check if you have vlc, if you don't download it from
http://10.1.1.45/download there are both version available if you have administration right use vlc, else use vlc portable
2). Now as you have vlc installed, naviagte to
Media-->Open Network Stream-->
select protocol rtsp and enter link in following syntax rtsp://IP_ADDR/BRANCH/COURSE_NAME/Lecture_No.mp4
where IP_ADDR=10.1.1.45
