Uttarakhand is a new but vibrant state full of resources and opportunities for all around development. The state is surging ahead with an ambitious plan of establishing core industries, power generation units and IT related industries and applications. In its endeavor to attain industrialization and develop IT environment, the state is in dire need of technical personnel of the highest quality. The technological institutions have a major responsibility to play a pivotal role to accomplish the task of creating required trained manpower with high acumen and innovative skills. The College of Technology, established in 1966, as a constituent college of G B Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, is well known for its academic standards. The College has earned its name over last four and half decades of its existence for setting benchmarks in teaching, research and extension activities. The college is constantly marching ahead in pursuit of excellence in imparting quality education and inculcating strong ethical values in its graduates to become good citizen and serve the society in a better way. I strongly feel that with its well experienced and committed faculty & staff with strong academic infrastructural base, the college is adequately equipped to meet the challenges of modern technological education.
