Ravi Dutt Mudgal
1977 Batch, CE
This message is in tribute to my late father Shri Ravi Dutt Mudgal , who was a student of B.Tech Civil Engineering from 1977 to 1984. News of 1977 alumni meet triggered this. He was part time student of College of Tech, being a working staff at univ. He was in a full time job in university & had a very successful private practice as an Architect but he had this burning desire to get a B. Tech Civil Engineering. He was the only one of 8 staff members who had joined as part time student , to finish successfully. I remember one instance when he & I was appearing in the final exam in the same hall. We together were in the college for two years , while I was pursuing my B.Tech Mech 82-86.Now when I am of his age that time, I realize how difficult it would have been to manage job, studies , private practice and family.
He passed away Feb this year.He was truly a Karmyogi.

Dear Sandeep,
I knew your father thru Dr Bajpai, Late Mr Khanna and Dr Jaju. I used to meet him while visiting Mr Khanna between 1973 -75 as you guys used to live across the street from Khannas.
He was a very nice person. May God grant peace to his soul and give your family strength to bear this loss.
