Dr. Abdul Kalam's Visit
           
Dreams are important for the scientist whose name is as long as his achievements – His highness Abul Pakis Jainulabdin Abdul Kalam. He says ‘dream dream because dream lead to thoughts and thoughts lead to action’. Dreams in this case, have always led to extraordinary actions, and it was no less than a dream comes true when he visited our college on 11th of August’07 to inaugurate the newly built Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering. His Excellency discussed the empowerment of agriculture of agriculture and convergence of technologies. He spoke on combining the nanotechnology, information & communication technology and biotechnology to evolve a new science called ‘intelligence bioscience’ which would lead to a disease free and a more compatible human habitat with longevity and high human capacities.

Dr.Kalam is an inspirational figure not just because he demonstrated that merit can succeed & thrive amidst so much nepotism & cynicism, but also because he has successfully emerged as an integrator of science who from an apparently mediocre team churned out awesome excellence. His approval of being a visiting professor has indeed charged up the students with a high lifestyle remains frugal. He is indefatigable & dreams of making India a technologies superpower. His mission is a vindication of what a person can achieve against extraordinary odds looking forward to his next visit!!!
