• Dr. M.P. Singh has been appointed as the new Dean of College of Technology.
• Mr S.D. Samantray (1984 batch) appointed as the new head of departmennt of computer engineerig department.
  
  Tech Hi-Tech:
• Wi-Fi with a speed of 10Mbps is now installed in the computer department and is available to college student in working time.
• A central computing facility with more than 250 system will be soon available round the clock.
• An internet connectivity using optical fibre will be soon available to all Hostels
  
  Infrastructure Renewed :
• A new well furnished Electronics and Communication Department has been constructed with upto date infrastructure.
• College building renovated and fountains are built in front of NCT & PCT lawns
• All the labs of respective department have been upgraded with new equipments.

• Faculty-Student Volleyball Match:
  “GURU” or the teacher is placed even above God or one’s own parents according to the Vedas. These ancient Indian values hold as much relevance in today’s modern world as they did in the time of the gurukuls. To strengthen just such a bond, A Volleyball match was organized between the final year    students and the faculty members of the College of Technology.  The faculty team was lead by Dr. P.S Mahar, Head ,Civil Engineering Dept. and the students team was captained by Naveen Raturi . The audience witnessed a thrilling match and some really great performances by both the teams. The match culminated in the favour of the students, but not before the profs had made them sweat for every point. The efforts put in by the organisers were highly commendable that brought forth such a successful event.
