College of Technology, GBPUAT, Pantnagar is organizing Colosseum 07, a National Level Technical festival comparable with the best festivals organized across the country on 16-18th March'2007.   Now in it's third avatar, Colosseum itself has become synonymous with all that is current and happening in the technical world interspersed with loads of fun and frolic and musical extravaganza. Colosseum, the name itself was aptly taken from the ancient roman arena, a venue of mighty gladiatorial contests, a battle of wits and courage. Some of the major events are:  

Ranbhumi, The Robotics Contest:- Automatons and Robots doing bidding, teams attempting to bridge the  obstacles. A saga of strategy, adventure and of course the age old technical   and building skills.    

Abhivyakti, the Paper Presentation Contest:- A platform to showcase Research Interests and excel in technical communications in the domain of media technology. Match wits with the best technical minds in the country as they showcase the recent advances in technology.  

Renaissance :- A series of guest lectures on a plethora of topics by technical experts. Hear it straight from the mouths of the world's renowned, the best in the business.  

Biz-czar, Iconoclasm, Aurum, Sanrachna,Jugat and many more........

Over Rs Two Lakhs in prizes to be won.
