According to the students, life in Pantnagar is very happening in terms of Activities. A no. of activities keep on going every month. Apart from the mega activities like Colosseum, Kisaan Mela & Tech-Fair, some other activities that took place in the campus were:

1. SPIC MACAY organised a Workshop on Vedic Mathematics on March 4, 2006. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Himanshu, Head of OPTIONS, institute for MBA preparation in Dehradun.

2. SPIC MACAY also conducted a Group Discussion on "IS CULTURE SELF-SUSTAINABLE OR IT NEED ASSISTANCE" on March 5.

3. INTERFACE- Branch Chapter of Computer Department organized its annual event- SRIJAN in which there were many things like LINUX workshop, GK quiz, Slow cycling, musical chair & carrom comptition.

4. Vivekananda Swadhyay Mandal organized "SANKALP"- its annual Alumni meet on 15-16 April '06 in which about 30 alumni along with their families gathered from all over India.

5. VSM also organised a Career Counselling Session for the university students in which they were told about the importance of a clear goal setting in life & also about the techniques of facing the interviews. The eminent Alumni present over there were:
