“We meet to part and we part to meet again.” This year again, we got the precious opportunity to meet people who have passed out from our college years and even decades back, through- “Samanvay”- the Alumni meet.

          The college’s annual fiesta showcases the various hues and facets of our alumni. Though this time, certain modifications were introduced in the program which was just condensed to one day, yet students participated with unabated verve and enthusiasm. Quality was the hallmark, and the result was a highly organized and successful festival.
          This annual extravaganza is a cornucopia of numerous activities. Witnessing events is a thirst that will never cease; it is a search which raises like a palpable cloud in young inquisitive minds and is eventually applied and revolutionized for development.
          As our life revolves around people, our success and happiness are greatly dependent on them. Therefore, one who can gain the confidence and cooperation of others van lead and succeed. Communication is perhaps the only way in which one can express oneself and influence others. And we started off with the same with our alumni right from the registration process onwards. A warm and hearty welcome was bestowed upon before them. Soon after this, was the inauguration function succeeded by a rocking cultural show in the Gandhi Auditorium which added all the more grace to the existing environment.
          As always the alumni were eager to share their experiences with the students of college of and hence followed a brief session of interaction between alumni and students of their respective department. It was a whole lot of fun to know how they had managed the journey from among the fields of Pantnagar to amidst the sky-scrapers of the metros leading not less than a couple of hundred people employed under them. Even after being at the peak of their careers they were extremely practical and pragmatic and motivated the students to do the best and lead the rest. These were some of those people who had never led the circumstances overcome their passion for excellence. These embodiments of success guide the students about their future aspects and made the session highly enriching and knowledgeable experience for them. While this enlightening session continued arrangements had been made for their family members to enjoy a movie show in the college premises itself.
          As the curtains fell over the interactive session and the movie show some memorable moments of the meet were clicked to be locked up in the minds forever. The alumni, faculty members and the students gathered in the college lawns for the evening refreshments. The alumni even penned down some splendid remarks on the comment boards. The golden sunset in the sky marked the end of a fantastic day. It was an absolutely enthralling experience for students leaving behind higher aspiration for Samanvay ’07.
