The joy and encouragement that has been infused into our psyche is beyond expression as the tremendous response we have received after our maiden issue only galvanizes our effort and collaborates the bonhomie that has so elegantly blossomed in the form of AUDIENT.

I indeed express my profound gratitude to all our revered alumni who have appreciated this effort as the fountainhead of abiding bonds. Hope this burgeons an eloquent medium for expression and communication.

The present issue deals with a slew of activities that kept the college campus brimming with fervor and spirit. The Cultural Night, talks by alumni’s on ‘Enterprise Resource Planning’ and ‘Practical Problems Faced in Construction in hilly Areas’, Kisan Mela which was the biggest ever this year veritably kept the energy barometer high. Alumni cell is going to hold an Alumni meet at the end of January'05. A technical fest concomitant of our tradition of innovative learning and invention will follow soon afterwards.

The Technical fest scheduled for February 18-20, Colosseum’05, is being organized for the second time and deserves special mention. Efforts to procure sponsorships for Colosseum are on full swing, as we work on novel ideas to make our fest a cut above the rest.

The days ahead indeed promise a deluge of innovative activities to make technical learning all the more refreshing by creative exercise. We hope our efforts will bear fruit. So I put forth the second issue of Audient with the faith that we’ll conform to the expectations of the readers.
