Colosseum'05

                            Colosseum’05, a national level inter collegiate technical festival is being organized by College of Technology from 18^th to 20^th February 2005.This is the second time that we are organizing this event. Last year it was a huge success with teams from College of Engineering Roorkee, DIT Dehradun, AEC Agra, YMCA Faridabad, SRMS Barielly and many others attending it.

                            The major events organized were Robotics, Paper Presentation, Sanrachna- the model making contest, Jugat- the mechanical assembly & disassembly contest, Iconoclasm- the case study, Blitzkrieg- the quiz, Aurum- the personality contest, Algoholics- the software contest, along with a host of other events.                         Last year’s events were organized with a budget of about Rs. 2 lakhs. This year we are trying to improve upon last year’s program and we have worked out a budget of Rs 3.5 to 4 lakhs. Presently we are busy arranging for sponsorship for this grand event. Companies like O.N.G.C. , Hero Honda, Havell’s, H.P., HCL, B.S.N.L., Escotel etc are being contacted for the same.

But such a colossal event cannot be organized without the help of our alumni. You can e-mail us with any kind of suggestions you have or with any help you can provide us. We hope to organize this event on a very grand scale so that it can prove to be a perfect stage for technical minds from all over India to display their talents, skills, ideas and creativity.
