The national conference on Recent Advances in Mechanical and Production Engineering (RAMP 2009) ,organized by the Mechanical and Production Engineering Department from 12 Feb to 14 Feb, proved to be forum for the presentation of new advances and research in the area of theoretical, experimental and applied mechanical and production engineering. It was sponsored by Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP- a World Bank funded program) the conference brought together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from the country.
The intention of the conference was to provide a platform to the world that helped it get a glimpse of Einstein within you. Its was a golden opportunity for all the scholars to showcase their talent and be appraised and screened by eminent personalities from both academia and industry and also to share their innovative ideas with them.
The conference consisted of keynote addresses followed by technical sessions. The keynote addresses were adelivered by the experts invited to introduce the theme of the conference. Each parallel session started with an invited talk on specific topic followed by presentation of research papers.
