LITROSPHERE'09 - A BRIEF REVIEW

Litrosphere, the literary fest was organized by Science and Literary Bureau, ETS from 10th-11th Jan 2009. The fest aimed to propagate the ideas of our deep literary foundation and the process of our strong personality built-up. Litrosphere was a literary competition where different branches stood against each other, to combat the challenges so as to make the branch proud to be at the very top. The students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm and contributed their share towards the account of the Branch. Surely to say the efforts of all people in the branch counted and not the individuals.
The fest comprised of number of events, all based on the sole concept of refining our communication skills and intellectualism. The different events were- English Debate-'War of Words', the hindi debate-'Shabdastra', the group discussion- 'The Big Fight', JAM- 'Just A Minute', dumbcharades- 'Expression', 'The Extempore', desk events and the most exciting and interesting event 'Sales Appeal'.
After a close fight and a neck to neck competition, Electronics and Communication Engineering emerged as the winner with a total of 180 points, followed by Computer Engineering and Production Engineering as runner ups. The event was a huge success as it gathered thousands of applaud and helped in inculcating the spirit of team work amongst all.
