GRE-Graduate Record Examination,one of the most distinguished examinations,which aims to make the aspirants get admission to the highly esteemed universities of United States for the purpose of higher education.
Alumni Cell, organised a workshop called GRE-TALK which was presided over by ER.MAYANK SINGH (alumnus 2004 batch,Computer Engineering) who has recently cleared his GRE exam with a prestigious score of 1400 and has seeked admission into State University of New York.
During the intercourse of discussion, he revealed many facts and sum of those intricate details of preparation of GRE. He clearly stated that the path is not as easy as it appears,and requires smart work instead of hard work.Also, he put an extra emphasis on consistent practice and proper time management;which can easily be hooked with the help of certain time saving ways and techniques.
The GRE exam conducted by ETS,comprises a number of multiple -choice questions -analytical, verbal and quantitative.The format seems to give adequate weightage to English ,Maths as well as General Awareness. However maths has been said to be that vulnerable module which may prove to be the score booster for many people.
If proper strategy is followed with full dedication ,and the work recognised as worship; success is bound to be acquired. We thank Sir for giving us his precious account of time and wish him luck for his bright future- so that he brings new laurels to the college cap again and again....
