The name may appear to be concise but a lot is in its store. The ancient roman architecture symbolizes the heroism and valour of the great warriors who fought at the cost of their life in the crowded amphitheatre of barbarous people. Changing times have bought us back to the arena of challenges. We, the pantnagar techi-ites are all set to face the baffling hardships of mind, surpassing the horizons of creativity to celebrate the annual tech fest of our college 'COLOSSEUM'.

The most vibrant technical fest of the zone , COLOSSEUM has an unending list of achievements. It started with a breakthrough commence in the year 2004 with an initiative to raise the college level to the colleges of national fame like IIT's and NIT's. The basic framework of COLOSSEUM comprises of central and branch events.
ROBOSAPIENS- the godfather of all the events is a big centre of attraction. The prime event of every Colosseum, robotics draws a huge participation from all the branches and years. What you need to do is, move the robot on your commands and be the victor. ABHIVYAKTI-The Paper Presentation contest provides a spread out platform to showcase the original ideas before the devouring eyes of the critics.

Coming to the technical events at branch level, we have a long list of challenging events for your brainstorming. Some of these events are ALGOHOLICS-the programming contest, BEAT THE HEAT, JUNKYARD WARS-where you have to search the infinite possibilities of search from the waste, DIRECTOR'S CUT, CRACK THE CODE...
After a hectic day of so many mind hardships, its time for some enjoyment and fun. Every night is the party time for the techi-ites at COLOSSEUM. The first day of Colosseum is concluded by AAHLAAD-The Kavi Sammelan. The poets mesmerize the audience with their beautiful creations.

Second day of Colosseum ends up with CALYPSO-THE DJ Nite... a mob of 3000 people mad with the beats of the music enjoying every bit of Rock-n-Roll. COLOSSEUM ends with a big bang with COROBOREE-the Rock Nite. Its one of our many quotable achievements that pantnagar has till date witnessed, our country's 3 most rocking band performances which is remarkable in itself. JAL, EUPHORIA, BANDISH... and the list will continue... the notes of guitars, deep beats of drums and hard rock music marks the end of COLOSSEUM. This year once again EUPHORIA is coming back to set the stage on fire.
Colosseum is like a dream come true for us within the limited resources of Pantnagar. Colosseum is our pride and honour. Truly COLOSSEUM means DREAM. INNOVATE. ACHIEVE.
