College of technology , pantnagar organized for the second time intra- university cultural fest from 24th to 26th jan- ACCOLADE'09...

The event began with grand inauguration on 24th jan. Honorable Vice Chancellor Mr.B.S.Bisht inaugurated the event . The event witnessed a huge gathering of zealous participants all set to show their talents. The event began with Rangoli competition where participants potrayed their thoughts with glooming rangoli colors and the whole college was overwhelmed with true colors of ancient art.

A workshop on Dandia was organized where trained dancers were called who taught the technocrates the Gujarati mood of dancing and everyone took the advantage of it by playing and dancing on the wacky tunes.
The next day came up with heart throbbing events of Utopia -the dancing competition; Malhaar- the singers show and Decibel-the Rock bands ...where one side dancers all over the university set the stage on fire and on the other singers filled the melody in the air and rock bands with their high energies synthesizers, guitars, drums lawked everyone . Also the day came up with the spirit of coloring the mates with face painting and tattoo making. Every one experimented with the colors and atmosphere was filled with joy.
Next day (26th jan) came up with patriotism n aroused the feeling of chauvinism amongst the youth. It canalized the great strength in the participants . Wall painting, sketching marked the day's starting-the wacky colors displayed on the walls intermingled with great ideas of techites to be displayed on the walls for the whole year .Later the attention turned to 'Style Check' where budding artists experimented with their looks and stunned everyone.
The event stood up for its meaning and turned to be a great hit...
