A youth awakening carnival to sensitize adolescents & adult YUVA towards their inherent strength, glorious, culture heritage, values & responsibility towards society & nation – YUVA was an intense campaigning in this regard to empower the youth through value based education & leadership.

Dr. Harshwanti Bisht, a famous mountaineer was present in the university for an early morning march. She also graced an exhibition portraying Swami Vivekanand’s life & thoughts with her presence & later, the formal opening of the 12th day celebration of youth spirit on same day. On 15th & 16th Jan, the campus hosted two visionaries from the lead India 20-20 groups based on Hyderabad organizing workshops which sensitized the students towards self growth. Just when one thought sensitivities & realization have our upper limit the campus was blessed by presence of “worshippers of Karma” from across nation for “Manthan” the national level youth symposium. Dr. J. P. Aggarwal the chairman of Surya foundation & students from IIT campus who teach deprived kids of their campus were also present.

On the eve of 17th & 19th Jan these was scintillating musical performance by “Baba Ji”. Everyone was mesmerized by his performance & danced in full patriotic fervor in the program. The National level debate had universities coming from Kerala, M.P., Uttarakhand, AMU, & BHU etc. This debate helped youth to get ignited & refueled to fill the world with light of positivism & optimism.

Culmination of YUVA 08 was suitably linked with another icon Netaji S C Bose. The event was enthusing & exemplary.
