Most of you must be aware that the creator of famous AMITY UNIVERSITY - MR. ARUN CHAUHAN is from 1970 batch of College of Technology. I salute him for his vison, ingenuity and entrepreneurship. He is a pioneer in establishing private educational institutions in India. Involvement of private sector in building up state of the art graduation and PG level institutions is a much needed requirement for the quality-education hungry indian youth which can only be partially fulfilled by the crippled education machinery running with the help of Government funding.

The host of institutions, presently operational under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Chauhan, are becoming centres of Excellence in their respective fields.

I had the opportunity to interact with this great personality during alumini association meetings at Noida. His ever smiling face makes you absolutely comfortable while communicating with him. He is a shining Pantagun with a magnanimous heart who is always willing to render any help for the cause of Espirit-de-Pantagun.

I wish him all the success in his endevours and I am sure that AMITY IS GOING TO BE CALLED ALMIGHTY - AMITY in the near future. Thank you Mr. Chauhan for brining laurels to the name of Univ and adding feathers in the cap of our alma mater.
