In this neoteric age of advancements, it is importunate to improvise skills whether be it technical or personality traits.College of Technology, Pantnagar stands for these and gives opportunity to students to organize various inter-collegiate, national level events to enhance their skills.
The college has a registered society named “Engineering and Technology Society (ETS)” whose members work meticulously to make events successful.
ETS mainly consists of five bureaus:
- EXECUTIVE BUREAU: It is the organizing team that is responsible for synchronization of each event .It also arranges for all funds and equipments for events.
- LOGISTICS BUREAU: It carries out all the work of logistics. It takes the responsibility of publicity associated with the events.
- CULTURAL BUREAU: It organizes and manages all the cultural activities that take place in the college.
- SCIENCE AND LITERARY BUREAU: The responsibility of literary associated activities in the college is beholden in their hands.
- ALUMNI CELL: It is an autonomous body which manages all the alumni related activities of the college as well as maintains the college website.
It is due to the coordination and maneuverability of the students that the college organizes various grandiose events like Technical fest ‘COLOSSEUM’, cultural fest ‘ACCOLADE, literary fest’ LITROSHPERE’, the alumni meet ‘SAMANVAY’ and sports meet ‘SPARDHA’.
Apart from these, the college has independent Branch Chapters :-
- INTERFACE: The Computer Engineers Society which organizes various competitions and events related to computer associated languages like C-Olympiad, Lord of the code, Hour Crux etc.
- MECH-CHAP: The Mechanical Engineers Society organizes ‘Jugat’- assembling and disassembling, workshops on Robotics, etc. throughout the year.
- ELECTONIKA: The Electronics Engineers Society which organizes various electronics based events such as I see IC etc. It also takes initiative of organizing workshop on autonomous robotics.
- ELECTROGLINT: The Electrical Engineers Society which organizes various events in the field of electricity like flip-flop etc.
- PLEXUS: The Information Technology Society deal in field of IT and organizes various associated events like animation contest and provides workshops on it etc.
- SPRINKLER: The Agricultural Engineers Society organizes various interesting events like Matrix, Fusion Soccer, How’s that, Tracksion, Kirti etc.
- NIRMAAN: The Civil Engineering Society which manages and organizes events associated like ‘I-Bridge’, Neev-a paper presentation contest, etc.
- GENESIS: The Production Engineering Society which organizes a variety of events ranging from fun fest 'Sensation' to 'Imagineering' and 'Hide the Heat' etc.
Apart from these ,college has an autonomous body EDITORIAL BOARD which has the responsibility of developing the college magazine “Techniche”.
