State Counselling Board,Uttaranchal

Admission to the first year of four year B.E./B.Tech./ B.Arch courses offered at State Funded and Self Financed Institutions of Uttaranchal (except for ICAR seats and NRI seats), shall be made on the basis of merit of AIEEE. The seats available in various branches/Institutes will be filled up as given below:

  • STATE FUNDED INSTITUTIONS
    (i) Agricultural Engg.
    For Uttaranchal Candidates 85% seats
    ICAR seats for Ag. Engg. 15% seats
    (ii) Branches other than Agricultural Engg.
    For Uttaranchal Candidates 85% seats
    For All India Candidates 10% seats*
    NRI 5% seats
    *The vacant NRI Seats will be offered to Uttaranchal candidates.
  • SELF FINANCED INSTITUTIONS
    (i)For Uttaranchal Candidates 50% seats
    (ii) India Candidates 35% seats
    (iii)Management quota (including NRI) 15% seats*
    *Management quota seats will be filled up by the respective institutes in the presence of Govt. Nominee. For this candidates may contact concerned institutes.
    The vacant All India Seats will be offered to the available Uttaranchal candidates.

Important Instructions

  • The SCBUA reserves the right of changing the regulations without any notice.
  • Uttaranchal State candidates are those candidates who are either domicile of Uttaranchal or have passed qualifying examination from the state of Uttaranchal.
  • Candidates whose complete result of the qualifying examination has not been declared by the date of Counselling due to any reason whatsoever (as in case of incomplete or withheld results or supplementary examinations etc.), shall not be eligible for admission under any circumstances.
  • Any change in number of Institutions/seats in branches, shall be intimated to candidates at the time of Counselling.
  • Candidates called for Counselling are required to be present in PERSON at the place and time mentioned in the Counselling schedule and must bring their respective admit cards (in original) issued to them by the AIEEE, failing which candidature shall automatically be cancelled.
  • Candidates seeking advantage of reserved categories, weightage etc., are required to produce relevant supporting certificates (in ORIGINAL along with one photocopy) at the time of Counselling.
  • SCBUA shall not, under any circumstance, alter information regarding state code of eligibility, state code of domicile, category and sub-category if any, that has been mentioned in the admit card issued by AIEEE to the candidate. In the event of any discrepancy the candidates are advised to get these corrected by the competent authorities of AIEEE, CBSE, New Delhi, prior to the date the candidate is to report for Counselling.
  • If any document/declaration submitted by the candidate is found to be false at any stage, his/her admission shall be cancelled and he/she may be liable for prosecution under the law.
    i) Admission to an institution implies acceptance by the candidate and his/her parents or guardians of all provisions given in the brochure/prospectus of the institution. Any change in the rules, regulations, fee, special conditions etc. of that institution, shall mutatis mutandis apply to him/her.

Registration Details for Newly Admitted Students for session 2010-11:


First Year Students are required to report at College with in the specified period i.e. from 22nd to 25th July,2010 along with necessary admission fees and all the eligibility documents/testimonials/certificates (as listed in their provisional letter or on the basis of which they want to take admission).
  • Mode of deposition:Bank Draft in favour of Comptroller, G.B.P.U.A.&T.,PANTNAGAR payable at PNB (Code-4446)/UCO Bank (Code-0678)/SBI (Code-1133), PANTNAGAR.

  • The amount of Institutional Advance Fee (Rs.5000.00 for all category, except SC/ST candidates for whom the fee is Rs.2000.00) paid at the time of counseling shall be adjusted at the time of admission.

  • In addition to the original documents of the candidates to prove his/her credentials, the following additional documents are to be brought by all fresh candidates:

    • Solemn Voluntary Declaration(to be submitted on Plain paper): Declaration Format
    • The DECLARATION FORM OF THE CANDIDATE FOR NON PARTICIPATION IN RAGGING is to be submitted on Rs 10/- Non judicial stamp (Notarized)in the format attached below :
